Later this evening, after the estimated 25,000 living fans depart Tampa Bay’s Raymond James stadium, another 30,000 fans will be dragged from the stadium and piled into trucks. In the wee hours of the morning, they’ll likely be headed to a facility to be disintegrated and processed. Or, if they are lucky, held in a storage facility to be eventually claimed. In return, the National Football League will receive a cool $3 million.

Some dystopian horror a la Soylent Green? Nope.
